An active soloist and chamber musician, Israeli Cellist Adiel Shmit performs extensively in the US, Europe and Israel with Orchestras such as the Jerusalem Symphony, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Stony Brook and Haifa Symphony in recent years, working with such conductors as David Stern and Phillipe Entremont among others. Recent chamber music and recital venues include New York's BargeMusic Series, Carnegie's Weill Hall, Music@Menlo festival, and a series of recitals in Washington, Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Belgrade and Helsinki.
